Learn how to recognize and respond to medical emergencies.
Course length: 4 hours
Recertification: Required every two years.
Cost: $85.00
DSPs learn how to offer and store medications, update records, and observe/report physical or behavioral changes.
Certified Medication Technicians through the Maryland Board of Nursing must recertify every two years.
Course length: 5 hours
Recertification Eligibility: Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Renewal Window is 90 days before your expiration date, and up to 30 days after your expiration date.
Please be sure to check you are in your renewal window before registering for this class.

This is a two-part course. You may register to take only one part (Relational or Technical) if that is all you need to complete.
Course length: Typically 7 hours for Mandt Relational. Lunch is provided each day of training.
