About The Academy
The Academy offers high-quality training for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and others in the disability services field.
Our courses meet and exceed the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) requirements and help build technical and interpersonal skills.
Learners gain job satisfaction, stay in their jobs longer, and see opportunities for career growth. People with disabilities experience more commitment and attentiveness from their support staff.
Representatives from Jubilee’s partner agencies Ardmore, Compass, and SEEC help guide the Academy by serving on an advisory committee.
The Academy’s launch in 2024 was made possible by the Patricia Abell Fund, the Maryland General Assembly (sponsored by District 18) and other generous donors.
