Jubilee’s 13th Class of DSP II Students Rings Out 2024
Congratulations to the newest Jubilee graduates of the DSP II training program! This rigorous five-month training program teaches advanced skills for direct support professionals.
“High-quality training for frontline workers translates to high-quality support for adults with disabilities. Support staff who graduate from this program are more confident in their work and more likely to see it as a viable long-term career,” said Melanie Moore, Program Director of The Academy at Jubilee.
Jubilee has trained 139 staff through the DSP II program, and this 13th cohort is Jubilee’s largest class of students since the program began in 2017. The program is offered through the Maryland Direct Support Professional Training Consortium, of which Jubilee is a founding member. DSP II is a joint training effort with partner agencies and Maryland’s Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA).
