Earlier this Fall, it was our honor to celebrate the incredible Jubilee staff at our annual employee awards ceremony. Especially now as the pandemic continues to upend our lives, Jubilee staff exemplify Jubilee’s unique spirit through their hard work and commitment to the people we support.
During his presentation for the Exceptional Service award, Steve Keener shared that “this award is given to staff who regularly go above and beyond the call of duty. They demonstrate exceptional dedication, creativity, innovation, organizational achievement, teamwork, and partnership building. In this unusual year, I am not exaggerating to say that winners in this category saved lives, made life bearable for those around them, and held their corner of the world together in a way that it is hard to imagine what we would have done without them.”
We received a record 150 plus nominations this year, and 24 deserving employees and community partners were honored with an award. Each winner received a $600 cash prize. While our celebration looked different this year as we gathered virtually, it was no less heartfelt. Jubilee’s former Director of Program Services Vicki Pendleton presented the award for Spiritual Care and expressed what we all feel so beautifully, saying “while I’m not there physically, I carry all of you in my heart.”
Please join us in celebrating this year’s award winners! We are so grateful for all you do.
