Tony and Eric dazzled the crowd at Jubilee’s Champions of Inclusion fundraiser with their original song, titled “Let’s Do It Together”, and then warmed hearts with their personal story.

Tony Patterson joined Jubilee as a direct support professional four years ago, and quickly formed a close bond with Eric Magnan. The two men live together, and Tony helps Eric successfully navigate the ups and downs of life.

“I like to stay healthy, and Tony helps me do that,” said Eric. “We exercise together at the gym. We plan out what we’re going to cook, and then we grocery shop and cook together. Most importantly, Tony keeps me on track, and helps me stay organized. He helps me not be flat footed or confused. He is a calming and stable presence in my life.”

“I take a lot of pride in knowing that I’m helping Eric be successful in his life,” said Tony, a recipient of Jubilee’s Shining Star employee award. “To be in this position, you have to keep an open mind and an open heart. An open mind allows you not to judge. An open heart allows you to love unconditionally.”
