Nature and Ice Cream Day
July 10 at 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Come spend some time in a boat on Clopper Lake and then pop over to Bruster’s for delicious ice cream! Please see below for boat options and prices. All participants should bring enough money for the boat rental and ice cream (non-dairy options are available).
Julia McCune will be there to assist with first time boaters – this will be a safe and fun place to try something new!
Not a fan of the water? Clopper Lake has beautiful walking trails and open spaces for those who just want to come and enjoy nature.
We will meet at the boat house in Seneca Creek State Park at 10am
Remember your sunscreen and drinking water.
Boat Rental Prices:
*All rentals include paddles/oars and Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) for everyone on board
- Canoes and Rowboats: $12/hour
- Single Kayaks: $12/hour
- Tandem Kayaks: $12/hour
- 4 Person Pedal Boats: $12/hour
Accessibility: Using a boat requires riders to be able to get down into a boat and stand back up on their own
