Jubilee’s Housing Support Services Helps Elaine Find Her Dream Home

Congratulations to Elaine Carney on her new apartment! Elaine is a long-time member of the Jubilee community and past-president of Jubilee’s Client Council. She shared with her Jubilee team she was ready for a fresh start in a new place, and our Housing Support Services team made it happen!

“We worked to switch Elaine’s housing voucher from one that was tied to the housing to a voucher that moves with her,” said Jubilee’s Senior Housing Support Specialist Shirley Fils-Aime. “Once we secured the new housing voucher, Elaine and I worked together to identify apartment buildings that met her criteria and toured them. After living in a garden-style apartment complex, Elaine fell in love with an amenity-rich building that also meets her needs to better age in place.

“I love my apartment so much,” Elaine shared. “I am so excited to be in my new place and to use the community room and the pool. I can’t wait to have my open house party and invite my Jubilee family over. Thank you for helping me find my new apartment!”
