Congratulations to Jubilee direct support professional Suzie Wandji! Her work was recognized during National DSP Week with an award from the Inter-Agency Coordinating Committee on Developmental Disabilities (InterACC/DD). County Executive Marc Elrich and Montgomery County Councilmember Laurie-Anne Sayles joined with disability providers to recognize the outstanding contribution direct support professionals make to the lives of people with disabilities.

“Suzie has a creative and imaginative spirit,” said Jubilee’s James Kivembele, who nominated Suzie for the award. He shared that she is committed to building healthy relationships, and making sure that the person she supports, his family and staff all feel valued, seen and heard.
